I first came to see Arlene as a college student looking for ways to process my childhood, grief, anxiety and depression. For the duration of three years our counseling sessions consisted of rich exercises , meditations, and discussions that not only gave me the skills to cope in the present but left me with a lasting grounding impact that affirms me, and my story, for what it is. I found ReStory Counseling through my google search and really liked her website and Arlene's counseling orientation & approach. When I met her during our Intake session, I was nervous since I'm new at therapy. She was professional yet warm, personable and created a non-judgmental safe place. She has really helped me with my anxiety.

My wife and I received pre-marital counseling here from Arlene and had a great experience. I was a little resistant at first to the idea of counseling (what guy isn't?), but Arlene was great. She made it very easy to open up and discuss the most important issues our our relationship, and gave us some really helpful advice. I would strongly recommend this center to anyone looking for counseling!
