john was a dual agent for his client and myself. The buyer and I negotiated the sale price on our own, contingent on appraisal and inspection. When the property didn't appraise for the original offer, I offered the appraisal price which was significantly less. John asked if I was willing to pay the seller an unspecified cash amount to pad "their loss".
