Poor service. Food was okay not exceptional as I remembered.
They charge for water! I paid $80 bar bill and $260 dinner bill, including 2 bottles of wine and they charged me $12.00 for bottled water! This is a rip off. Do they expect to pay for their remodeling bill by charging for water? This is a rip off do not patronize this place.
We ordered oysters and were told they only had East coast oysters left. After 45 minutes the manager came to tell us they were out of oysters ! When we got the crab cakes (all appetizers still) after an hour !!! they were cold. The house salad came after that . Needless to say this is unacceptable for a restaurant that wants to be in the category of fine dining. Seriously am considering about giving them a second try . We tried out the newly remodeled and revamped Annie Cafe & Bar for my birthday dinner and were very pleasantly surprised by the food. The crab tostadas were fantastic, and they brought them out on individual plates as there were 4 in the order and 4 of us. My mother ordered the Lumache pasta and loved it. My father and I split the redfish on the half shell and we also thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the tuna and while he didn’t rave about it, he did clean his plate.
