I’ve been going here for 2 years now with Glenn taking care of me. Every single time he’s listened to exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. I went from having hair past my shoulders, to covering my ears, to a buzz, and nice clean cuts. He can really do it all! I’ve been so lucky to have had him make me look nice for my wedding and upcoming family photos. Everyone else I’ve met has been great as well.
If you’re taking paying clients, knowing how to work with different hair textures isn’t optional. Textured hair requires technique, care, and an understanding of how it naturally behaves. That’s part of the job, not something to figure out after the fact. Being polite afterward doesn’t undo the damage or the impact. Hair is presentation, identity, and self-expression, and when it’s treated carelessly, it shows a lack of respect.
