I still think about this place even though it’s been over a year since I’ve eaten here. I can say it ruined coffee for me 😂 I’ve never had a more fragrant coffee than at this location and wished I lived closer to this cafe. The owner and her son specialize in different items here. The son specializes in coffee and the owner in dumplings & niu rou mian! I had the dumplings and they had the home made Taiwanese taste to them. I loved it. This is one of my Philly recommended locations to everyone.

Very great drinks and I'm sure the food would be as well but we were just there for coffee/ tea. Highly recommend, very cozy and nice. Definitely on the pricey side though but worth it and the staff was very pleasant.

Food was pretty good but our experience dining in was negatively affected by the man claiming to be the boss of the restaurant. He berated the other young workers (they were otherwise quite attentive and kind!), telling them to hurry up and generally just yelling at them. first time here. the main guy was berating his staff loudly and publicly the entire meal, being rude to customers, and having inappropriate conversations (about middle schoolers being hot) for all to hear. never felt so unwelcomed by a coffee shop in my whole life, the level of pretentiousness was off the charts. on top of that it's $11 for two spring rolls. I feel bad for the staff and question anyone that would go here regularly.

The coffee is solid. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and my girlfriend got a latte. Mine was a little sweet but I won't count that against them. What really brought this place down was the complete lack of hygiene and state of the restaurant. Dirty dishes were absolutely everywhere. There wasn't a single surface without dirty dishes. While I do think you should manage your expectations in chinatown, this is begging for the transmission of foodborne illness. I did not take photos out of respect for the other patrons.
