I am forever grateful to Dr. Gardocki and the professional staff at Vanderbilt for the excellent care I received. The surgical procedure Dr. Gardocki performed went smoothly and I immediately felt great relief from leg pain. I feel like I got my life, as I love it, back.

I left outpatient surgery center 8 hours later with a subdural hematoma. I spent 4 days in the Hospital after a second surgery. Dr. Gardocki put in a screw he shouldn’t have. I now have a spinal cord injury. Run from this man. Do not. Let him operate on you.

Excellent doctor, very straight-forward, no-BS, extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He will not sugar-coat. He is the expert, treat him as such, and you will have a positive experience. He put my mind at ease today, and I will forever be grateful to him for that.

My mom has had extreme leg/ back pain so we were referred to Dr. Gardocki and drove 5 hours to see him, only to walk out of his office crying. He was the rudest doctor I have ever been to. Tried explaining symptoms and couldn’t get a word out without him saying “that doesn’t help me,” he rolled his eyes and scoffed the whole time. This was an extreme let down for us. would not refer him to my worst enemy.

I have my life back thanks to the surgery. The pain was awful, I could not drive or buy groceries. I no longer had a social life. I am thankful every day.
