I have been going to Dr Poliakin for 20 years… I have always loved coming here i have always felt very comfortable around him he has been a great Doctor…… but these last few years everyone in his office including him lack good work ethics!!!!! They are all on overload as his staff says… his nurse Clara is very disrespectful and mean I went there in February 1 2023 with urinary tract infection and ask them to do a urine culture to see what is going on the next day the nurse says it is all negative went back a second time same... read more

Dr. Poliakin is very good at doing the procedure part of an OBs job, whenever I go to see him he talks to me like I don't know my own body and acts like he knows more than me. I had an ovarian cyst start bleeding in early February and I was in severe pain. When I told Dr. Poliakin about how painful it was he compared me to one of his nurses and basically dismissed my pain stating "a cyst of your size wouldn't be causing that amount of pain". When I told my physician about this, she called Dr Poliakin an idiot. Do NOT go see ... read more

My wife was referred to Dr. Poliakin by a few friends who gave glowing reviews about him and the prenatal care they received. I've since learned that obstetrics and gynocology should be two separate practices and Dr. Poliakin should stick to Obstetrics, if he should practice at all. My wife was seeing him REGULARLY for gynecological check ups. My wife was experiencing pelvic pain that continued to get worse, she saw him for a routine exam and he found nothing, and referred her to a gastroenterologist who found nothing and se... read more

Dr. Poliakin delivered my first son and I had an exceptional experience with him. I came in for an emergency C-section and Dr. Poliakin was calm and kind and helped ease my nerves. He delivered my baby safely and was wonderful throughout the entire procedure. He is extremely professional and thoughtful. I highly recommend him.

To start, Dr. Poliakin perscribed me Nextstellis. He and the nurse then both highly encouraged me to take an HPV test as it was “no more than $60.” I agreed to it, received a month supply of Nextstellis, paid the appt fee, and left the office… 3 weeks later, I received mail from the testing lab from my HPV test with an outstanding $780 bill. During this time I looked into buying another supply of Nextstellis to find out it would cost me $250/month. I spoke to 4 pharmacies in my area who all said that is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensiv... read more

I just started seeing Dr. Poliakin two years ago after my daughter was born. He is fantastic in every way possible. I have not experienced the same long wait times as others, but honestly when you have a doctor who delivers babies I cannot imagine that a wait would cause anyone to lose such an amazing doctor. Honest, forthright, not afraid to answer questions and funny. I get a bit nervous on the table and he made the experience a lot less uncomfortable than doctors I have had in the past.

I am one of this people that will "Wait because I love him". It is not that he is being disrespectful, it is that he will drop everything to help a pregnant mother with an emergency or a patient in crisis. Often times, this ends up with a bit of a back log. He was present for my two pregnancies (emotionally & physically), saved my sister's life with amazing first rate referrals, and has been caring for me for over 30 years. Yes, I will wait for him & that being said, I rarely wait for anyone!

If you want to wait 45 min. - 1 hour, and then be placed in a room where you continue to wait, then this is your place. "Our patients don't mind because they love him" is what I was told. Each year, for my annual appt., I wait and wait and wait. It is disrespectful of a person's time and poor business etiquette.
