I didn't feel like he was listening. He didn't explain much and really made it seem like surgery was the best/only option. I spoke to my occupational therapist and he was very thorough about my condition and explained to me my options. It was only after speaking to my OT the next day that I saw that the Cedars Sinai provider didn't do a good job in explaining my condition to me. I really think he should do a nerve conduction study to make sure that my symptoms are not caused by other areas.
I travel was over 30 miles to see Dr Raven. His knowledge and his expertise to resolve my issues was his priority. Dr Raven cares deeply about his patients and wants the best treatment possible for me. I had his total attention and never felt like he had to hurry to see someone else. He is my doctor and I have full confidence in him!

Pleasant experience:-) I always think of questions I should have asked after the visit. I wasn't prepared with all my questions ahead of time. But Dr Raven did let me know to reach out to the office and contact him with any questions or concerns.
I appreciate that Dr. Raven listened to my concerns and questions, and he seems engaged and invested in helping me though this.
