The dining area was unique! The breakfasts were delicious.It offers seating overlooking the woods or in a dining hall with big wooden tables and chairs that make you feel like the Knights of the Roundtable will join you. Off of the tavern is a splendid room stocked full of books, movies and games that one may take back to their spacious castle room or to one of the quaint cabins. From the fire pit, outdoor chess game, patios, or hiking trails, wild life can be seen and/or heard.
The castle and grounds are really fun! Very clean!! The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is great, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect only better. The cabins are immaculate inside and out. Paved walkways, grill and fire pit. No cell service!! <--good thing!
Beautiful and peaceful place
Went there for my honeymoon and its was a blast. My new wife and I stay three nights and had plenty things to do. Also the staff was very nice and helpful. The room (Empress Matilda) was awesome and very nice atmosphere. Most definitely would suggest this place to anyone that want a nice get away.
