I've stayed multiple times at Ravenwood now, and I have nothing but great things to say. The staff is warm and engaging, the food is great and the ambiance is exactly what one hopes for from a castle in Hocking Hills. The Pub and Library never fail to please. There is nothing quite as relaxing as a glass of beer in the pub, cell phone still your bag as you enjoy the feeling of being off the grid. Amazing for every reason. Can't praise this place enough. Truly an experience I'll be doing often.
I had a wonderful time here. The staff is amazing, everything is clean, and the selection of games in the library is awesome. The wife and I spent some time here just to get away. This is the perfect place for it. It's far enough away from any main road that you'll never hear any traffic. Absolutely wonderful place, and I can't wait to go back.
Ravenwood Castle is in dire need of updating. We stayed in the King Arthur, bed was a joke! Sheets so cheap I wouldn't have my dog lay on them. Towels thin and need replaced. The cheapest toiletries available. Trim around the jacuzzi had peeling paint and gross. Dirty jacuzzi! Not worth the price. We were treated more like they thought we were going to steal a beer than valued guests. Worst bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in.
Staff very friendly and always there to help with whatever you need-- Murder Mystery weekend was slot of fun!!!
We stayed at Ravenwood for Halloween weekend to celebrate my finances birthday and had the time of our lives! The location and castle are beautiful and our cottage (clocktower) was excellent. Our fellow guests were friendly and easy going, Professor Von Gerd and the Deathly Deals filled our evening with laughter, and the staff was top notch. My Birthday is coming up in a few months and I have a feeling we will be back again soon. My only regret in posting this review is that if more people find out how great this place is it... read more
