We just finished our second Hoop and Stick con (a board game convention/fundraiser for Extra Life). We absolutely loved it. My husband and I stayed in the Empress Matilda room. The room was perfect. I loved being able to go out on the balcony too. The food was good. The staff was sweet as can be, helpful and hard working. They do everything possible to make you feel right at home. Was not impressed by the murder mystery weekend. We paid a ridiculous amount when it was all said and done. The biggest mystery of all was the meal we were served on Friday night. It was buffet style and consisted of shredded "meat" with bbq sauce, cabbage,diced potatoes,salad, and some kind of cherry dessert.
I visit d Ravenwood for one of their murder mystery weekends and had a fantastic time! The castle was beautiful, the and staff was more than friendly. Our group of 8 had a fantastic weekend and we're looking to come back for another trip in the fall
My husband and I went here for our honeymoon a couple years ago and really loved our stay. The room was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, and it was so nice and quiet. We hope to stay again one day when our son gets a little older.
I was a little nervous and driving to the castle it was in the middle of nowhere. So once we got up that hill and saw that amazingly beautiful castle my opinion change clip. We stayed in the Cinderella Cottage it was beautiful, cozy, and just overall and amazing tricks. My only suggestion would be to add a small stove or hot plate in that room since you do offer everything else such as kitchen sink microwave refrigerator. But I definitely cannot wait to go again our next trip to the King Arthur room
We went there for a murder mystery weekend and had the best time! The staff was absolutely amazing especially Preston, Amy, Cassie and Savannah. (The rest were awesome as well but didn't get their names). We will definitely be back again!
