RecommendedThe best property managers ever!!! Eric and Valerie treat their tenants like family. I reside in one of their older properties, and during the holidays the plumbing fell apart. They were quick to respond and had a crew that worked non stop to fix it. The crew was also real nice and informative. Awesome 👍

This is very nice establishment! Very reasonable prices for private room and bathroom. Washer and dryer in the house. Maintenance responds fast, all you have to do is call or even email. Only a mile from the University. I recommend these nice houses to all of my friends as a great place to live!
I have been leasing from raven for the last yr in a half. This is after leasing from others in past. Valerie and Eric are awesome people who bend over backwards for all of their clients. When I have fallen on hard times they were understanding and reasonable, and I honestly believe, if you are looking for a apt or rental in the area, they are the ones to call
Raven gave me a one day notice that pest control was coming and I advised him that I was out of town working. I always use the garage door entry because the owner insisted on us using chain locks. The next day I received a rude text from the owner, Mike Pettyjohn, because pest control could not enter the house. I told him I informed Raven that I would not be there and the owner texted me that they are “not required to make arrangements when [I am] available”. You need to read your contract. What we stated in this txt was a true fact. You were given notice that the pest contro; would be around. You are not required to be present when he sprays.
Do not use this management company. He is a liar and takes advantage of students as well as the elderly. Unresponsive and untrustworthy. My parents sold him this property, yet they continued to maintain it because he is so unresponsive. Also refused to give tenants their deposit back without cause. House was spotless and cleaned when moved out. They did not even follow up to check it until two months later. Don't expect much if you rent from them. Also some of their "5 star" reviews are their own employees.
Business response:
The decision to not refund your money was the owners not Raven Property Management. When you left you did not inform us to do a walk through with you. You left before the end of your lease and it may have been cleaned when you left but when we did the final walk through it was not to the standards of the owner.
These are GOOD people! Valarie helped find a nice home for my daughter and I. There were a few unexpected surprises after the previous tenant moved which pushed our move-in date back almost 3 weeks. Valarie and Eric kept me in the loop, expedited the maintenance quickly, and were fair to compensate me for the time. They will keep up with you, check in on you, and set you up for success. 10 out of 10, would recommend!
They are absolutely wonderful people to have as landlords :)
I have to take time to rate this company I showed up late on a Friday afternoon in need of a 1 bedroom apartment Robin and Val were in the office but it was almost closing time. They took the time to show me 3 different apartments and I chose one of them. After returning to the office to sign the lease they both thanked me for coming in. It was me that was thankful for them to stay past closing to help me out
