While in Arizona, I got a detached retina, which my doctor in Arizona reattached. It was time for my wife and I to return to Illinois and I needed to do a one month follow up. I saw Dr Ravage who explained in detail what he saw inside my eyes. He said all looked okay. He also said I will eventually need cataract surgery. He also recommended I return in a year, since I will be doing a follow up in Arizona come October. He is very considerate, pleasant and knowledgeable. I appreciate his advice! Dr Ravage and all his staff are great. I have full confidence in him when I go to treat my eyes.
After being referred to Dr. Ravage by my optometrist, he immediately began work on my retinas to correct a serious problem. Regular maintenance checkups with Dr. Ravage have kept the issue under control. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction without using confusing medical terminology. Also, a big round of praise should go to the outstanding staff at Illinois Retina. Dr. Ravage is the best! He did to laser surgeries on my eyes last year or so. Now I go back yearly for checkups. He is thorough, explains everything and I’m so lucky he is my doctor!
I had a periodic visit that was handled with efficiency and skill. I felt well taken care of .Highly recommend Dr Ravage.
This was my second visit and I like the staff and Dr. Zac Ravage. He is kind and not rushed. He cares about the health of my eyes and I sense I am more than a pair of eyes to him.
