Prints didn’t seem that rare
this is the place to be for an art and history experience! mel was awesome, so happy to chat with us about not only the beautiful pieces, but also about what brought us to the area. spent a bunch of time there, looking at the ton of art and asking questions about the different subjects, artists, and time periods. big thank you to mel for teaching us about the colonial money, pulling out old texas maps, and helping pretty up an already beautiful hand-colored, framed drawing that i fell in love with (pictured). i will remember... read more
We visited Franklin as part of our Nashville vacation from Indianapolis. The Rare Prints Gallery was an impromptu drop-in as we window shopped the area. We could not be more impressed with Mel Ferrer. We found an item we liked, and he went above and beyond describing the provenance and history of the piece and practice. We enjoyed our time with Mel almost as much as we enjoy the art we purchased.
