I recently had to undergo a hysterectomy that had many complications!!! If I wouldn't have had Tamera, Nicole and Mrs Gloria by my side the entire time I don't know how I would have gotten through it! Not only were they AMAZING nurses but even better people!! God truly had his hand in placing these three amazing people in my life when I needed them most! So a huge THANK YOU to these angels from above! I hope you see this and realize what a big impact you had on my life during my stay at Rapides Women's and Children's!
I think that when you go to Rapides ER, it is a requirement that you have to stay at least 6 hours before they decide what to do. They leave you waiting without any updates. They spent 2.1 million dollars on an ER helipad, but can't handle their patients in a timely manner, especially if you are in a non-life threatening situation. Was told my dad would be removed to a room after waiting 5 hours, it was then another 1-1/2 hours before moved to a room

I went there early morning and was treated like i was an idiot for coming in. I am 35 almost 36 weeks pregnant and from out of state due to hurricane irma. I have had previous problems in my first pregnancy and the same symptoms started appearing. When i explained to the er doctors why i was there they looked at me like i was wasting their time with my concerns even though the disease could cause my child to be stillborn. The staff was awesome they took good care of me and tend to my needs even though they were busy
The staff were very nice. Answered any questions I had. They really care about a person. My doctor Dr. Jon Wilson did a extremely great surgery on me. Thank you Dr. Wilson

Piss poor excuse for medical care. Nothing else needs to be said. My experience was horrible so was a close friends so it wasn't just us.
