I brought my husband into Rapides ER yesterday because he fainted three times at work and needed stitches.They did not seem to be overly busy, but never got him into a room. They did do a CT for head injury but 'could not' tell him if he had a concussion. They did bloodwork and stiched him up in the hallway. I called the number given on paperwork to speak with someone and got ICON AIRCRAFT. That's right, these people aren't even smart enough to put their own phone number on their paperwork! Most of employees are great but the way they handle things needs to change. My Dad had his peg tube replaced by ER Doctor who accidentally punctured his colon. I know he didn’t mean for that to happen but they didn’t communicate what was going on to us until my mom had to sign papers for surgery. Thanks for Dr Raza who explained what was going on,was very sweet, and went above and beyond to help our situation.

Took my step dad for a 45 minute procedure, was there 11 hours. We were told to be there at 7 AM. They took him for procedure at 3 PM. This sucks for family waiting.

Rapides Regional Medical Center is the most racist unprofessional “hospital” I’ve ever been to. I will NEVER step foot in in here again.
Thank you RRMC ER staff for taking wonderful care of me. I looked like a fool passing out in the er from a dog bite. It was a crazy night and yet I was treated with excellent care. From the Nurses , radiology department and FNP , every staff member was kind, patient and helpful !! Thank you thank you !!

I brought my husband here August 14th after he flipped his 4 wheeler at mudfest. His shoulder was dislocated. After they did a x-ray they said they could see a broke fragment. They said he need a CT SCAN. He was screaming in excruciating pain and they wouldn't put his shoulder back in place. After hours the nurse came in and told him he needed to put his arm down for the scan he told her he can't it would go down. she called him a wuss tapped his head down and forced his arm down. The security at this hospital is completely inadequate. I have witnessed several homeless men approach women on the sidewalk and in the doorways of the hospital numerous times. I have intervened on occasion and have never seen security come outside, or stand guard while patients and staff enter and leave. most of the time they are sitting in a chair about to fall asleep. I do not recommend this place. Nothing in that place is worth my family's well being
