Dr. Rao literally changed my life with the sinus surgery he did for me in 2019. I can breathe freely now and never get sinus infections. He is truly talented and very professional. I strongly recommend him to anyone struggling with chronic sinus problems. I continue to see him for regular checkups. His staff is all very professional and personable making South Denver ENT such a positive experience.

Broke my nose in 2003 and lived with it for 20 years. Had basically only the use of one nostril for a many years. Dr. Rao operated, and it’s like it was before 2003 now. Breathing easy these days and getting much better sleep. Total win!

He is booked out three months and that can be frustrating. His examination was very thorough and he is a good communicator. The medication he prescribed is working very well.

I waited 4 months to write this review because I respected Dr. Rao, however, i don't want anyone else to have to go through what i did. I've been a patient for several years, however, In August I had two ER visits in a week with a bloody nose - the 2nd time they were considering giving me a transfusion as i had lost so much blood. The ER finally got the flow stopped the second time they tried placing a block in my nose. That instrument needed to be removed in 3 days. He seems good…his office help is horrible. His nurse does not relay questions/concerns but instead insists since she has been there so long she has the answers. Unprofessional receptionist with a your in the way attitude. Turns out I became allergic to the medications prescribed…serious allergic reaction. Follow up in three months…not possible…receptionist made the appointment for 6 months. The Pulmonary side of that office is exceptional….steer clear of Raos….Who he hires is a reflection of him. Dr Rao performed a Vivaer Procedure in this office on me, just a few days ago. He was very thorough in his explanation of what he was going to do and what I was going to experience. He was so gentle and clear all the way through the procedure. Only two days away from the Vivaer Procedure and my oxygen levels are up in the high 90's . Sleeping through the nights for a change. Very disappointed in care with Dr. Rao. He tends to just want to do a nasopharyngoscopy ( numbing your nose and sticking a camera down) EVERY visit for NO REASON! It is absolutely absurd! What is even better is how he smiles and tells you he still can't see anything wrong, but continues to do the nasal thing on you anyway at every visit! I will never go to Dr. Rao again and I recommend anyone to look elsewhere.

I had a deviated septum and breathing issues. Dr Rao was wonderful, he performed surgery and I was surprised how much better i can breathe. He is a wonderful doctor and would recommend him to everyone I know.
