Dr. Ransome is a great doctor and very thothrough. My wife and I have been a patient of hers for many years and we are very happy wih her.
Ok this is wild. Susan was a terrific and empathetic doctor; I was literally looking her up to recommend a friend to her and was shocked to see these reviews. This woman was a gem.
I am optimistic that Dr. Ransome is competent, but Jules Stein Administration and scheduling is a nightmare. I was advised to get a follow-up appointment. I have now spent three hours on hold over two days with two phones listening to the awful on hold noise. Clearly there is a problem with scheduling that needs to be urgently resolved. During the last visit, there were 2-3 patients waiting and several staff, including scheduling staff sitting with nothing to do. I was not impressed with Dr. Susan Ransom. She rushed through the eye exam as if she had no interest in participating during the exam. She gave me the impression she did not enjoy her profession. I would not recommend her as a doctor!
