Best Pizza, Relaxed Atmosphere – I'm writing this review in response to the other gentleman's complaints, because they run such a polar opposite to my own experience. In my opinion, Randy's is the best pizza and sub shop around this area. NY Pizza, where the gentleman is now planning on eating, is definitely a close second. "Selective" customer service. – I'll start with the positive by saying that the pizza is good. That's where it ends as far as my personal experience. There where customers before me and after me but not in succession) and I observed how the staff treated each of us. For some reason I was snubbed when spoken to, no greeting, barely any eye contact. Don't expect quick delivery during lunch time.. – We ordered food for lunch and was told we would have our food in 45 min to an hour. It actually took 1 hour and 35 min for us to get the food. When we called the young lady who answered the phone was very nasty. They may have great food but they offer poor customer service. Therefore they have lost me as a customer.
Awesome NY style pizza – Chewy, but crispy, flat crust; thick cheese; tangy sweet sauce - This is a really great NY style pizza joint that I'd never thought I'd find in NC. It's a great deal - 2 (big) slices with a topping and a drink for under 6 bucks. Service is speedy, toppings are classic and of a pretty good quality. (you need to go elsewhere for your artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and pancetta). This is a solid pizza joint.
Love Randy's of RTP – Love thin-crust NY style pizza? I have visited all the Randy's pizza's in the area and I love the one on Miami Blvd in the RTP best of all. Their customer service is great. They have a great staff that makes you feel at home. The pizza and sauce is by far superior to the other locations. The pizza is thin and the toppings are always cooked to perfection. BEST Pizza Around.... No Kidding!!! – I just love this place! I searched high and low for a decent pizza and sub place, since moving here from the north... I FINALLY found this GREAT place one night when I was going to the movies, and stumbled across it in the parking lot near Windsong Theatre....
