Maybe the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. Didn’t introduce himself, was miserable and had no interest in figuring out what was wrong with my eye, even though I am in a lot of pain and have severe headaches. Sent me home with a topical cream! This was after waiting weeks for an appointment and two hours before I was called back into the office. Steer clear of this practice.
The other day, I saw Dr. Beatty at AGH. He was going to give me a steroid injection for my chalazion but I assumed he he must have Parkinson’s because his hands were shaking noticeably and uncontrollably, which made me very nervous because I was fearful, getting stuck in the eye. He attempted a numbing shot first, but it was quite painful. I decided to follow the alternative approach he suggested—using a warm compress and antibiotic ointment—instead of the injection or incision and expression.
