Dr Alexander is a brilliant surgeon! He recently did a distal biceps repair for me and my recovery has been swift. I had this surgery done by a different physician on my other arm several years ago and my pain post op was much greater and recovery took twice as long. I have been in healthcare for 30 years and trust me when I tell you Dr A is humble for a surgeon and has a great bedside manner. The office, surgery center, and physical therapy staff are all efficient, caring people.
He seems to care as well as helpful to me. I got quick appointments and dates for surgery for my Nerve pain.
I broke (crushed) my right radius (wrist) on October 16,2017 and my first visit with Dr. Alexander was on October 23, 2017. From that first visit to my last visit on February 22,2018, Dr. Alexander was great! He was very personable and explained every detail of my injury with clarity and very positive about both my surgery and recovery. I would certainly recommend him to anyone that needed his services. His staff and especially Laurie Allen, my Occupational Therapist, were great!
I fractured my scaphoid and Dr. Alexander couldn't have been better throughout the healing process. He showed me the X-Rays and pointed out exactly where the fracture was and explained how we would both work towards a speedy recovery. I feel it is important for you to understand your injury just as much as the doctor. I would recommend any friend or family to Dr. Alexander. Genuinely cares about his patients on a personal level.
I fell on my left elbow in April. Dr. Alexander was recommended as the best person in Atlanta to operate on me by my previous orthopedist. I was scheduled for surgery one week later but Dr. Alexander arranged to perform this procedure 2 days later on Saturday. He carefully supervised my post-op medications, so I had very little pain. He oversaw my occupational therapy and I was able to regain functional use of my left arm. He answered all of my questions and included me in all decisions.
I incurred a sports injury to my hand resulting in a fracture to my hand. Dr. Alexander and his staff were very responsive, professional, and pleasant. Fracture was splinted with great recovery.
Based on Dr. Alexander's high reviews on Health Grades, I chose him to repair a distal bicep tendon tear. Dr. Alexander was awesome through the entire process from initial consult to surgery and post-op. He clearly explained my options and answered all my questions to help me make the best choice for my injury. I highly recommend Dr. Alexander.
Dr. Alexander was so helpful and kind, working with me on cubital tunnel syndrome solutions and even going over and above to address other existing health issues that turned out to be an underlying issue.
I received excellent care from Dr. Alexander after I left earlier surgeon who was a real quack.
