I found Dr. Peoples through an iPhone app called Health Grades, he had the best reviews of any Neurosurgeon in Las Vegas. I contacted his office and was greeted in a friendly helpful way. I was told to bring in my pics and the Dr would look at them as soon as he could. I left my pics in his office on Monday I was called to schedule an appointment on Wed. DR. PEOPES WALKS ON WATER!!! HE IS WONDERFUL, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, COMPASSIONATE, AND AN ALL AROUND VERY NICE PERSON.
This doctor walks on water!!! We have only lived here 1 1/2 years and did not know any neurosurgeons in the Las Vegas area. Three months ago my husband found out he had developed benign tumors on the top of his spin...(originally diagnosed through tests and other doctors as bone spurs). They had been growing many years and had formed a "shelf" in his throat which made it difficult toimpossible to eat. My wife has been in a lot of back pain for several years, and after having an MRI with contrast conducted, was told she has a syrinx on her thoracic spine, and that it would need to be surgically removed or she'd start losing sensation in her extremities and eventually would be unable to walk. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE SEEN IN LAS VEGAS.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY ONE WITH SPINE OR BRAIN ISSUES. CARES DEEPLY AND TAKES TIME TO EXPLAIN.
On May 10th 2014, Dr. Peoples performed a C6 / C7 fusion on my neck. My experience with him was amazing. I was in chronic pain taking 4 Hydrocodone pills a day to function, and could not lay down. For 5 months I slept in a lazy boy chair, and went through every nonsurgical option available to me, including steroid injections in my neck. When the injections failed, surgery was my last option.
