Meh. – The food here was definitely below average, especially for the price. It's not super expensive, but I thought the price wasn't in line with the quality. I don't have anything against cheap Mexican food, but it should actually be, you know, cheap. I had two supposedly carne asada soft tacos, though the tough, rubbery pellets of meat were unlike any carne asada I've ever had before. The beans and rice weren't terrible but didn't really do much for me either. The salsa was pretty good however, and we were able to get a t... read more
It's a Love/Hate relationship – This place has really good food. It is all totally Americanized Mexican food (a la "Taco Bell"), but it is still very good. If you grew up with home-made tamales, or if you don't like cheese, then avoid those dishes. It is a fun little place to eat though. The salsa is incredible, and probably some of the best in town. Only place I've ever been to with better salsa is a place in Downtown KCK. The cheese dip is very, very rich. The service is decent. Most of the servers are teens, and the one t... read more
Find someplace else! – The food here was mediocre at best (very american). ?Cheddar? Cheese literally blanketed everything, the tamales were dry as a bone and three of our seven items were served wrong! Add that to the dissapearing waitress and the inept directions when we called and asked and this was definitely a forgettable experience. One good note was the salsa, it was excellent!
thank you – i love this place, my father is one of the owners so i apprecite all the good feedback
I freakin' love this place... – Food is excellent and value-priced. Atmosphere is cozy but obviously not 5 star. I recommend the Specialty Burrito or the number 10 - Bowl with rice, chicken, peppers and onions, all grilled Fajita-style, served with tortillas. For the money, it can't be beat. Always busy and great service.
Great Place to Eat – Excellent food, big crowds, if you go on Tuesday, Friday or Saturday nights (but what restaurant isn't, right?). Highly recommend this place. Easy carry out, if you live close!!!
Ola! – Great food but always crowded - we always have to wait for a table. Frozen margaritas are good. Make sure you try one of the cheese dips! Weekday specials too.
