I think that surely a mistake was made in the kitchen. My "chicken nachos" at $10 had to be a mistake.
Horrible - we went to a restaraunt next door last week and noticed the place was packed and decided to try it tonight. I had the fiesta burrito which stated it had queso over and it and stuffed with chicken/pork/beans. Well, it was drowning in queso which was basically cheap best choice velveta. Margaritas were overpriced and all they had was once kind. You couldn't even order a top shelf. My wife asked for a margarita menu and the bartender pointed to the spigot that was the only choice. My assumption is, the crowd was from... read more
Good Stuff – Love me some Rancho. Yes, of course it is Americanized Mexican, but shall we remember we are in America! Whenever you have an inkling for inexpensive yet quality food this is the place. I have been a customer for three years and will continue to go back!
best freaking taco tuesdays anywhere – I don't know about the drinks, never in 11 years have I had issues with the service, been all over the U.S.A and all I have to say is Rancho Grande Cantina has the BEST Taco Tuesdays ever in my 41 years of living. it is busy, noisy, confussing, hectic. but the taco's are worth it. it is two for one, the shells are not per-made. they are very fresh, and simple but so very good. the salsa is good but the extra hot needs a little help. I love this restaurant on tuesdays and wednesdays beca... read more
Poor quality – I have lived 5 minutes from Rancho since 2002. Seen the quality of drink and food decline every since. Margaritas have gotten "week" and food marginal. If you like ALL of your food covered in an inch of cheese, this is your place. if you have not traveled outside of Platte County and tasted what quality Mexican food is like, this is your place. If you want "cheep" food, this is your place. If you want quantity over quality, this is your place. If you want to smell like cigarette smoke when sitting in the non-s... read more
Rancho Grande – This is a good restaurant, food is real good-though it's not real Mexican food. Some of the staff at the bar, and when you first come in are a little rude.
Food OK – This restaurant has yet to catch up to the NO Smoking trend. The smoking section is at the entrance of the restaurant where they also have you wait for a table. If you order take out the pick up is at the bar which is also in the smoking section. The ventilation is so poor that regardless of how much time you spend just passing through the smoking section you are stuck with the ashtray smell until you get home and clean up.
H0 Hum, Tex Mex – Not bad food, if you're into the Americanized tex-mex stuff. Real good salsa though. Hard to enjoy it, because of all the smoke. The place allows smoking, rather archaic for the modern era. Not only does it allow smoking, it encourages it. If you're a smoker, go eat there, you can't taste the food anyway. If you're not a smoker, go elsewehere, so you don't come out smelling like an ash tray.
Great food & drinks, friendly staff, fast service, clean atmosphere – My husband & I love to eat here. We try and go as often as possible. I always order the same thing, #5 Cinco De Mayo, no chicken, all rice no beans. Lately we have also been ordering the Rancho Grande Dip-it is awesome as well as the salsa and chips. I never eat all of it because it is alot of food especially for the price, but I always take it home and eat it the next day for lunch and it still tastes great. Many times we have been there, the restaurant i... read more
