Pat treated me with an antibiotic for a pocket that I have. I have read about it on the internet. One of the treatments is to cover that area for a few days to protect it that the patient is getting a longer olasting effect from the antibiotic. Could you respond to this? JB
I would have appreciated knowing several years ago (when it was first noticed that I grind my teeth) that night guards can be bought OTC. I didn't know until I saw them at WalMart a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure the custom-made ones are better, but I'd have had at least 2 or 3 fewer years of grinding at night if I had known about the OTC ones.
