My experience with this practice has been disappointing. In a mental health setting, empathy and clear communication are essential, yet I found the staff lacked both compassion and understanding. It seems I’m not alone in this experience. Any care or support provided is outweighed by the attitude of those representing the practice. I spoke to Kylie I think it was on the phone this morning as we had sent an email prior wondering if the Telehealth phone appointment could be zoom. I thought it was the consult rooms, as that was the number attached to my confirmation message. She stated she was not the consult rooms which is an easy fix and just the way she spoke to me was extremely rude and like she couldn’t be bothered helping me. Extremely disappointing.
Earlier this year, I came to Ramsay Clinic Lakeside feeling desperate for help with my mental health. The Positives: The facilities are excellent—modern, clean, and comfortable. The food and accommodation are of a very high standard. The nursing staff were consistently lovely, helpful, and extremely supportive. My psychiatrist was clearly very experienced, and I generally felt that I was in capable hands during my stay. Dr Sinnaduray was so helpful and very accommodating to my needs for my mental health. It was a smooth process and I felt supported throughout the journey. Thank you.
A thanks to num peta n the amazing nursing team especially Roger, Sally and Lizzie. My time at lakeside 3 was a mixed bag but this team along with drs Anita dani n tahl zangroon kept me safe in this period. I met some great fellow patients and I will not forget the time we shared. Lakeside clinic is a wonderful place to land in times of doubt, depression and anxiety.
