BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I made the mistake of living in an apartment managed by Rampart. I didn't have a lot of time to look, and wasn't being too picky. Big mistake. The building was horribly maintained, and infested with roaches. I complained about the roaches, and they most Rampart would do is occasionally send the same pest control company that would put down "gel" which I could buy in the store myself. TOTALLY UNETHICAL – Oh my gosh, it's like mafia run. They have rent controlled units (like half of los angeles) and they try and get around it by charging 120 to park in the lot near the apartments, after we've all parked there for more than a decade. They're raising rent by 500 dollars when tenants move out and I think that's what they're trying to get the remaining tenants to do.
