Dr. Ramirez passed away on January 30, 2019. He will be greatly missed.
Dr. Ramirez is a great doctor. My daughter has been doing him for 4 years. He is very attentive and takes his time to ensure all of my questions/concerns are addressed.
I've been taking my son to see Dr. Ramirez for five years now. We think so highly of him that I'm willing to drive 60 miles from Burleson to Plano every three months to see him. Every visit he spends at least 30 minutes with us and genuinely listens to me and my son. I've never met a doctor like him.
This office should be ashamed of their business practices. My son was in limbo to be evaluated for weeks. I don't think they ever had any intentions on helping him. I wish they would have just told me their doctor wasn't even in the office and on medical leave, so I could try and get him help elsewhere. This was after I had to inconvenience all his teachers to fill out their paperwork and now have to start all over.
Dr. Ramirez comes into the exam room, sits down at eye level or below with my 10 year old son, and speaks directly to him through all visits. He listens to his concerns, makes him giggle, and provides solutions that make sense. His focus is not on dishing out meds but on providing practical advice that is simple to follow. The prescription we receive is for med refills (they're needed) but most importantly he writes down apps & books, accommodations & helpful solutions. This doc CARES!
Dr. Ramirez is awesome. We have taken our kids to him for 15 years. He is great with kids. He always takes the time to listen and explain things to you. He explains all the options that you have.
