I saw Dr Rak 2 years ago for pain in my lower lumbar area and some neck pain due to arthritis, I had an MRI done amd he said my neck needed surgery or i risked paralysis. He assured me I would feel 100% better and be out of the hospital probably in 3 days and a very small incision would also alleviate any arthritis pain. I had the surgery Oct 2022 and 18 months later, I am in pain everyday, had a 5 inch incision and spent 10 days in the hospital. in August of 2022 I had a ruptured herniated disc that needed surgery right away. Dr. Rak was the surgeon that performed the Laminectomy. When I met Dr. Rak in the hospital I was at ease right away since he had such a nice smile and such a wonderful bedside manner. His credentials were fantastic and then I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Rak’s caring and empathetic manner in dealing with his patients is, above all else, genuine and uncompromising. His optimism in the way he projects his forward confidence is amazing to witness and characteristically beautiful! He is such a positive influence in conversation that misbelieving his method is downright sinful.

Although this was my first time meeting Dr. Rak, I was impressed with his congeniality, kindness, professional bedside manner and friendly approach to my medical issues. Without knowing much about his background, I felt confident in his ability to take charge of my debilitation. He has an excellent air of reassurance about him. I look forward to his treatment plan for my case. Very positive attitude!
Besides being an excellent, highly skilled surgeon he has a wonderful bedside manner, warm and caring. I had a complicated back surgery that I was very nervous about but he took me through it with excellent results. His staff was always very helpful, polite and kind.
Dr RAK is a true medical professional because he takes the time to explain everything in full detail. Plus he makes you feel very comfortable in his office while he speaks to you. I had many questions yesterday and he fully answered all my questions.
