Established in 2012, Ramen Tatsu-Ya takes pride in being one-of-a-kind in Austin. This restaurant attempts to recreate the typical feel of Japanese ramen stalls as found with its ambiance and food. As the name suggests, the specialty of this place is the ramen; the wheat for the noodles and the broth are prepared fresh, on-site, so you are sure to get only the best. Refraining from accepting reservations, Ramen Tatsu-Ya is an intimate space that can seat approximately 38 guests; get there well in advance to grab a table.

I literally Traveled all the way from El Paso to have their Ramen! It has been my favorite since I lived in Killeen and San Antonio, the drive is MUCH MUCH longer now so I hardly have it but ALWAYS worth it!! We have Ramen here and it simply doesn’t Compare 😭🍜
From my experience, this is nothing less than the finest ramen shop in Austin. Take a friend to experience true ramen. Kae-Dama is a must, and if you leave hungry, it's no one's fault but your own. Great food, decent prices, and awesome service!
Really good food and cool atmosphere! Got the Mi-So-Hot w/ pickled ginger and extra noodles. GO HERE if you can!
Good Ramen. Portions are huge, and as all ramen should be...it’s affordable. Good depth of flavor and you can tell that they spend time building the broths. Had both the traditional pork bone broth and the creamy miso based one too. Tasty!
Loved it
Good stuff
Was Visitng from out of town— googled, “best soup near me” — Ramen Tatsu-ya came up as one of the options. Super long line when I got there— inside is not as big as what the picture shows— but the wait was well worth it! Best ramen I’ve had so far! I had the #3 + mushrooms + fried Brussels sprouts Staff is super nice too!
I thought this would be a good eats but this place sucks!!!!! It is very pricy the ramen taste like cream of corn (ordered number 1). The spicy edamame is soaked in salt. Their coke is from Mexico and its expensive. This place is nothing but hype and that is all .....ALL HYPE but it really sucks.Service is above average but I will NOT recommend this place.
My first time ever eating Ramen and I’m a picky eater. It was delicious. I was visiting Austin and went with a friend who lives there. She helped me order (stayed safe and ordered the chicken and added the corn bomb). We were there on a rainy cool night and it was so soothing and warming! Manager was extremely friendly and helpful a md even let me take a pic with him! I’m feeling adventurous now!!
