LOVE Dr. Silverman. Always helpful, informative, patiently answers my myriad of questions from birth to present (age 10) of my son. VERY competent. Correctly diagnosed low muscle tone in my baby at age 9 mos when he wasnt sitting up on his own. Referred us to physical therapy which corrected the problem. Has made other excellent specialist referrals as needed for both of my sons (other one has seen her from age 4 to his present age of 14). Obviously likes and enjoys children very much. Our regular pediatrician was on vacation when my son was born and Dr. Silverman was the doctor on call. Each time Dr. Silverman saw my son she acted rushed, irritated, stressed and uncaring. She also mis-diagnosed my sons medical condition. His symptom was he would occassionally seem to gag. Dr. Silverman saw him do it and very nonchalantly said something to the effect of : he probably swallowed some blood during the birthing process.
