I called this hotel to inquire as to why they have large signs toting Republicans who do not have Iowans best interest in mind. The phone rang for 5 minutes straight to which nobody ever answered. I proceeded to call the corporate office and then got placed on hold for another 4 minutes before hanging up. I'm glad I was not even trying to make a reservation because being placed on hold for 10 minutes is not ideal to say the least.
Staff was wonderful. Had to unplug fridge it was so loud. Light in shower was out. Showered in the dark. All night heard a sound of knocking at door. I think it was the heat trying to kick in because remote to thermostat did not work. Was very cold at night. Needs updating. I was thinking ramada was still a good brand. Not so much any longer. Hilton should be regularly regulating their partnerships
When coming to town we always stay here. Last night was the first time we had problems from the door to our room to the room never got warm. It felt like the air was on the whole time. I got the room # stuck in my head cause I never want that room again!!
After checking in, I went to my room and noticed the air conditioner wasn't working, floor dirty and mildew in shower. Got my room changed. Went to new room and the air conditioner was so loudx I had to amp up the tv to hear it, had to get new bedding because mine was dirty, sticky carpet and yet again....mildew in the shower. Staff was very nice but the hotel is just dirty. I would not recommend staying here unless your desperate. The diner next door had great food though!
Good beds, a/c, updated clean bedding, well cleaned room, professional front desk check in, the In house Ankeny Diner is very good.
