Service, care, and follow up went off a cliff. 10-12 years ago Dr. Vick cared about patients. Now, not so much. I would no longer recommend him.
Very quick to take your money for procedures. Don't expect ANY post-op care as this guy doesn't give a darn. I've had tons of complications from a procedure and the lack of care is shocking. I've never had a practice so uncaring in my life. You could probably find a more caring practice in the classifieds.
Dr. Vick does not follow up with patients or provide any communication after the exam, despite ordering labs that required his review to confirm a diagnosis. I received my lab results on April 29 and May 5. Several values were flagged. No notes were placed on my chart by Dr. Vick and I was never contacted. As of June 1st I have still heard nothing from Dr. Vick despite several attempts to reach him and the front office staff promising a same-day callback after the last attempt.
NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! PLEASE PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Dr. Vick in the Huntersville office is a HORRIBLE provider of care. He shows no compassion, respect or courtesy for you as a patient. I left this office in tears feeling humiliated and insignificant for the way he and his staff treated me. And to this date, do yo think they have bothered to follow up or check in on me? No!!! And they won't because they don't care!! There is no money in phone calls and following up on a patient. He is all about the money and orders unnecessary... read more
Dr. Vick removed my kidney due to cancer and I could not have been more pleased with his care. He has been wonderful to me and would highly recommend him. He has been treating me for over 2 years and has been very sensitive to my feelings and physical being. I am shocked at some of the bad reviews as he has never been neglectful or disrespectful to me.
June 2021 Pre-surgery & Surgery went well, but then his office seemed to implode. No follow-up scheduled, calls were not returned, electronic messages were not returned, test results were not communicated, post-surgery pain was not addressed I chose to switch providers.
I was in an emergency situation. Dr. Vick was very understanding and made things happen. Mary, the surgery scheduler, got the cystoscopy scheduled quickly with a follow up lithotripsy. Lolita at the front desk was always cheerful and helpful. I would definitely recommend this practice.
Terrible service here. Never got me back a PSA result & I ran them down for a week. Finally told me the machine was broke. Changed doctors after that & still never got my result & had to do another PSA test with new doctor. Then I’m billed for the test I never got a result for. The original test was in January & they claim they sent the result to my new doctor in May so I need to pay. RIDICULOUS. Also when you go they treat you like a number from the moment you walk in.You don’t want to go here
felt like a number twice check-in online and in office with computers(impersonal). he drew and made some assumptions before gathering all info. questioned my motive for being there. I felt unimportant in my condition. more interested in my insurance. I pretty sure he is well qualified, just not right for me.
