First time to see a pain specialist, and not knowing what to expect - I was shocked at the care, time, consideration of my issues. and the effort put forth by listening and creating a plan. Dr. Menard was very attentive and the staff was professional while being FUN at the same time. I was very relaxed and look forward to seeing them again soon. I feel better now knowing Dr. Menard will get me comfortable.
Business response:
Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
Dr. Menard is professional, and also very caring to my concerns. I trust him to give me the very best care. I would not hesitate to recommend him .
He listens! Such a kind and caring man and his staff is just as caring. I’ve had a few injections done and he is extremely sensitive to my “I don’t like shots” conversation and careful in doing the injections. I have to say, they have been pain-free, he has a light touch.
He cares about my quality of life.
I have seen Dr. Menard for several years. How ever if you haven’t seen him in the last year you have to start all over… my insurance doesn’t require that I have a referral. How ever he does even for established patients. I was told that my Dr. send a referral in and then they will review it to see if I can be seen… I am in severe pain… and they can’t tell me when I could possibly be seen. So according to them I could very easily sit here in excruciating pain for weeks… how does that help. I can’t move my arm. And who ever an... read more
After reading other comments about Dr. Menard, I do not agree. I have found Dr. Menard to be very plain-spoken about my condition so I can understand what is going on, He did try a steroid block which didn't help but then he advised me it may not. I need spinal surgery but my spine has deteriorated to the point that is not a feasible option. Just because he is unable to fix the problem is no reason to run him down, He is an excellent Dr. and truly listens to you.
I was very impressed with Dr. Menard. His personal interface was EXCELLENT and his explanation was honest and straight forward. He said that he doubted his treatment for my problem(sacroiliac) would probably not help me as the nerves on the front of the bone could not be reached by the ablation process. A DR who was NOT out for enriching himself with an unecessary procedure. Five STAR all the way!
Dr Menard was very very thorough and professional. It’s pleasant to deal with a doctor whom understands my issues. Additionally his nurse Theresa and other staff were easy to talk to and seemed genuinely geared to helping me improve my back problems.
My husband has been going to him for over a year for severe back pain. He has done NOTHING to help his pain level. His only answer is epidural in spine...three times in a year and a half with no help whatsoever. In 2018, my husband went to Dr. Menard for severe pain and he gave him NO remedy...no over the counter regimen, no prescription regimen, no TENS unit recommendation, no physical therapy recommendation. When he called about level 8 pain, Dr. M never called back.
