Inspections are quite thorough. For people who don't take care of their cars, this promotes safety and security. However, if you just topped up the windshield washer fluid and put on your own wipers, failing inspection for this seems trivial. In any case, the staff is polite and work is done quickly, even addressing the recall I didn't know was outstanding.
