The airport itself is great, love the new Senior rules for going through security. However, my flights on American Eagle sucked, was 2 hrs stuck sitting on runway Because of a fuel truck break down , Therefore, a flight that was I hr 8 mins Was about 3&1/2 hrs to Reagan Natl in Washington DC. Then trip back to RDU From DC was cancelled at the last min & rebooked for super early next morning. Which I was lucky enough to find on Email. Always use this airport its always cheaper and less packed than others in N.C
A downpour made for long traffic lines and soggy passengers, but the RDU staff went over and beyond to help. An employee actually stopped her vehicle and gave us a ride to our car. That's hospitality!
