About this business

For cerevisaphiles (ardent beer lovers), Raleigh Beer Garden is heaven. Touted to be the largest draft beer selection in an establishment in the planet, it boasts 366 taps of craft brew. The brainchild of Niall Hanley, a local restaurateur, it spans across three floors with patios and a rooftop. Built with the wood of pecan trees that stood on the site of the bar, it has a lovely rustic look to it. To get a taste of North Carolina beers, head to the first floor bar which features 144 taps. There is also a cocktail corner cal... read more

Considering they just opened, I'll give the 3 stars mostly for design and potential. Very cool setup, however, staff needs a lot of training and tweaking. Most beers were not available, per a customer we spoke to while waiting to get service(which never came). Rooftop bar didn't even appear to be setup to serve and definitely wasn't while we were there....perfect summer day in NC, which is rare in July...should have made it a priority to be utilizing this area of the "garden". Parking does not exist, but that's not unusual f... read more

This place is awesome..one suggestion/beg...get rid of the chairs at the bar that serves the NC beers!! When you offer no table service and its self serve, everyone has to go to one of the bars to get their drinks and order food. So the bars are between two and four levels deep..I feel like I'm breathing down people's necks when I'm trying to order a beer and take it back to my table outside. It would be so much easier without those damn chairs!! Haha. Other than that: I love it here.

Price on menu was for Pint they bring beer in 10 Oz glass and charge same price as pint...manager just said sorry....I dig the place and don't mind paying 7.50 a beer but advertise the correct size glass...

Warm beer. They need to keep those kegs cold. Nothing worse than getting a warm glass with warm beer.

I went there Wed night....I understand it was the 3 rd night but what a mass confusion!!! First off, a Hostess Stand at a first come seat yourself restaurant? That created an unnecessary line. You are not sure where to sit that offers full service. I was by my self and unknowingly sat in a "self serve" section...went to the back for a beer.....lost my seat. I hope they work things out as it seemed like a neat place.
