Dr. Mehta is very knowledgeable and is supportive of finding the best outcome for his patients. There are often long wait times, but he is worth the wait. There are sometimes miscommunications between the office staff and the doctor or the pharmacy, but the current staff is better than the ones in the past and the overall experience has become better over the years. I highly recommend Dr Mehta and have recommended him to friends and clients, which is something I don't often do.

Dr. Rajesh Mehta has been a life saving gastroenterologist for me in Austin. I've been fighting cancer for four and a half years now that started as Esophageal cancer. I had the lower esophagus and the upper stomach removed. Every couple of months my esophagus tends to close up and I can't hardly swallow my pills more less food. Dr. Mehta has been the only Gastro Dr. in Austin that does the procedure right every time I go. It give me time to put some weight back on for a couple of months.
Dr. Mehta takes good care of his patients. He’s a great doctor and he will listen to you as a person not a number. I would recommend him to anyone that requires a gastroenterologist.
I saw Dr.Rajesh today and he answered all my questions and I would recommend family and friends to see him, reason is I was seeing Dr.Becker and I didn't like how I was seeing by him so I changed doctors,thank you Dr.Mehta
Dr. Mehta is a very thoughtful and caring doctor. He spent a lot of time with me to go over my condition so that I understood it and he answered all my questions. He also has a very good bed side manner. I highly recommend him.

I love Dr Mehta. He is personable, friendly and he listens. He takes his time with you and is thorough. He makes sure you understand the treatment plan. I completely trust his advice. He is candid as well as charismatic. I feel i am getting the best care and trust his guidance. Sometimes there is a wait, but it is worth it.
