Dr. Rajesh has a very reassuring presence. He is obviously very strict with his medical protocols. He takes very seriously anything found. He guides his patients to health.
The only doctor who discovered what is my satisfactory after six years of pain .. He is a very Clever doctor and really nice person .. I’m do happy and I feel good now ..I recommended him. Hind Alhindawie
Dr. Mehta has been awesome with me. He takes his time to explain my condition and treatments. He can at times be hard to understand however when I ask him to explain again he does so with patience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great, compasionate and knoweledgeable gastroenterologist.
This the best doctor , I have seen . He listen my complains , ordered the testing including endoscopy. He explained me in details. He was to the point . He diagnosed me accurately which no doctor could do it . Every other doctor told me IBS. Dr Mehta found bacterial overgrowth and treated me with right medicine and I am symptoms free. I will recommend him highly to any body with Gastro problems. Even best to get second opinion from dr Mehta.I wish I can give 10 stars.

Dr. Mehta was very thorough but his office needs serious updating. I was also concerned with the cleanliness since after all, he is a gastroenterologist.
I'd definitely encourage family and friends to find another provider. Office staff is incredibly diligent, friendly, and caring; but cannot offset Dr Mehta's inadequacies. He was 90 minutes late on one appointment, is woefully unaware of current literature or advisories from folks like the CDC or Mayo Clinic, doggedly follows generic protocols only, listens without understanding, and can not or will not take the time and effort to learn about conditions new to him.
Listen I chose this doctor because he was referred to me by another doctor. I have a rare disease and the first thing he told me was that he had seen 400-500 patients with my disease! Mathematically impossible. So for that reason I questioned his integrity from the start. When I decided to have surgery for my rare disease I had picked a surgeon who has the skills that are rare as well. When this doctor found out I didn’t use the surgeon of HIS choice he became angry and he raised his voice.
I had a great experience with Dr. Mehta. I went to the South Austin office. The office is in dire need of a remodel, but the service was amazing. The office help were accommodating and informational. Dr. Mehta was direct and to the point. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. They made it feel so routine, it made me feel safe in his hands.
