I had a horrible experience at Raintree Animal Hospital and will not be returning in the future. Dr. Holmes was convinced my cat Poe (7 yrs.) had chronic kidney disease (CKD) and told us he had about a week or two to live. It turns out this was NOT the case, and he is alive and doing very well now - it has been well over six months since then. My chinchilla was very sick and very few places treat small mammals like a chinchilla. They were very kind. He ended up dying no matter what we did, but they were so compassionate and so caring and checked in with me for months afterwards. I recently got a note that said they had an ornament I could pick up to commemorate my beloved fur baby. I cried all over again but it was a gesture above and beyond that will not go unnoticed.
I take my dog and cat here, and have for quite awhile. The entire staff, from the front office to the tech's to the doctors, are all very kind, caring, friendly and great at what they do. My Chihuahua has back issues, and he sees Dr. Holmes regularly for acupuncture. As you can imagine, a Chihuahua would normally not tolerate that, but he trusts them and they help keep him stay calm, so the appointments go very smoothly. I would recommend Raintree 200% to anyone!
Absolutely the best care ever for our bark crew. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond for us.
I took my 9 week old puppy to Raintree to get a round of shots. I immediately knew it was a good decision to take her there. They were very kind and informative, and explained in detail what each shot was for and how much they would charge. They took time to play with my puppy and make her feel welcome as well. It was very clear that the employees love their job and the pets they work with. They even call afterwards to check in on your pet and see how they're doing after the visit. I love the way the staff treats my dog, but he's been going there for 6 years and they still refer to him as "she/her", which is frustrating. They've always provided good care though.
