The hostess was extremely rude. I'm pretty easy to please. Waitress was very nice. Food was basic. We only went because it was kid friendly and we had 4 kids. Food needs a facelift.
Usually great service, but last night was an exception. The entire party (6 adults and 2 children) ordered and food came out in spurts! The worse part was our 6 year old didn't receive her food until we were almost finished. We asked several times for her grilled cheese and they just kept saying it's coming!
First time going to the Rainforest restaurant and we loved it. We loved the service and the atmosphere. We will be going back soon.
Reading the bad reviews would have discourage me from going. However. We went last night, Friday the 13, around 8-9. 3 adults and 1 child with a stroller. Considering that it was not a busy night we where allowed to take our stroller upstairs and dine. We had to park our stroller near the stairs about 20 ft. ahead of elevator. That was fine. I will never attempt to dine here again unless there is a change of staff/management. Tried to get seated on Thursday 11:30 am. Restaurant was empty, lots of people waiting for a table. We were told 15 to 20 minutes and after waiting 30 minutes we left along with several others. The hostesses were talking amongst themselves without concern for the waiting guests. Great food,service and ambiance! Awesome! The serving is superb. Had not been here for years.Thanks I got back. Still one of the best resto to eat here in Downtown Disney!
Very disappointed in this restaurant and staff. The waiter was great but the hostess was very rude and unaccommodating about our toddler sons stroller/wheelchair. Then we got followed around the gift store like we were going to steal stuff, nothing worth even buying there! Extremely overpriced meal to be treated like crap.
Awesome time there! Great customer service & very entertaining for the family.
