They provide excellent care for my pets – have been taking my felines to Rainbow for the past three years. I had to rush my flame point Siamese Mischief for a scratched cornea. On another occasion I had to take my cat Lucky in for a severe cold. They have also been helping my bengal Jynx copy with her asthma. Heart of Gold – They are so cool! I can't say enough about what a blessing Dr. Metzger is. Make sure you tell him beforehand if your dog may bite. Even dogs that never bite their owners could pose a threat to a vet or vet technician. Our dog had never bit before but she was so scared she made the vet bleed. i felt so bad because he was a saint. He made me want to become a vet- what a superhero. What makes Rainbow so cool is you don't need a pot of "gold" to pay for an appointment for you pet because they have a heart of one.... read more
Great! – one word GREAT!!!
Only place that will NOT rip you off – This is the best place to take your pet in or around Los Angeles. Our dog had a tumor and we searched all over the place for a vet that would remove it without all the additional charges and add ons etc. This vet cares about animals. They are super nice and they WILL NOT RIP YOU OFF. We were able to bring our dog right in and they removed her tumor right away because they could see she was uncomfortable- thank you! They treated me like I was important and like I mattered I enjoy the Doctor, the staff, the service and the kindness shown to me on my first visit with my doggie. :) I just made an appointment for my little Princess ( the cat) and I am glad.
Bait and switch – We took our dog in for teeth cleaning and an extraction. We were quoted 300.00 for this service before we left. We picked up our dog 3 hours later to the tune of 660.00 I could not do business this way and I do not understand how they can do business this way. I like the doctor and staff but they charge WAY too much and I do not like being told one price to return to more than double the initial estimate.
