great vet – After I scheduled an appointment at Rainbow, I read reviews on what people thought of it. I was a bit nervous because people said it was a terrible place, but I was hoping it wouldn't. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was nice, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I loved the place. Dr. Metzger was pretty nice, and I don't see why people say he's horrible.

Very helpful and accommodating – have been taking my felines to Rainbow for the past three years. I had to rush my flame point Siamese Mischief for a scratched cornea. On another occasion I had to take my cat Lucky in for a severe cold. They have also been helping my bengal Jynx copy with her asthma. I found their staff to be friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating

Steady patient ever since – For my money, and my beloved Tiggy, this vet is the best. Three years ago, Tiggy was a rescue kitten--someone I knew found her on the side of a local freeway. I took her to another, well-publicized Burbank vet and had a horrific experience. Vet #1 took a cursory look, and said that she "probably had the SARS virus" and direly predicted that she would have to be put to sleep!! WORST VET ... DO NOT GO! – This vet used to be run by the BEST vet ever ... Dr. Weule (sp) loved animals, very personable to both people and there animals ....It was always busy. he just retired and handed vet over to a Dr. Metsger (sp) Just went there 1st time since Dr. Weule retired ..... 1st .... waiting room EMPTY..... always had at least 3-4 other people waiting. 2nd.... Be careful... – Pet owners considering bringing their pets to Rainbow should be aware that the business was targeted in a KNBC hidden camera investigation in February. Dr. David Weule was shown prescribing $600.00 in medical services to a dog that had been checked out and given a clean bill of health by another qualified vet. $600 for a $30 bottle of AntiBiotic?????????? – Where do I start? I took my sick Calico cat in because she was losing weight and acting lethargic. I filled out a YARD of paperwork, proof of this and proof of that, and an HOUR later, the doctor agreed to see her. He was nice enough at first, and seemed to check many aspects of her health. After only a few minutes, he was baffled. No idea what's wrong. He recommended we run a full bloodwork, X-rays, etc. He said she probably ate some chemicals or something.
