Ran my first Ragnar last weekend and seriously can't wait to do it again!
I just completed SoCal Ragnar which was my second Ragnar experience, and it did not disappoint! Once again I had a weekend filled with challenging runs, hours of laughter, wonderful staff and volunteers, amazing new friends, and unforgettable memories. I can't wait till next time!
I just finished my first Ragnar yesterday and wow! What an interesting and challenging event! I think what made it more epic to me is i didn't know a single soul until i jumped into the van friday morning! What an experience! Yesterday after zero slept i would never imagine myself saying i can't wait until the next one
I volunteered at the Ragnar Relay in the San Francisco Bay Area on October 24, 2015 by handing out water to runners. I arrived at my designated station during my shift and joined a few other volunteers in handing out water. About 45 minutes later a Ragnar Official comes over to our station and requests if two volunteers would be willing to drive down to another unmanned station. I did the McDowell Mtn trail relay and the Del Sol. Had a blast on both. The only reasons that I didn't give it a 5 is that they promised double medals for those races but they didn't have enough for those of us who competed in both and timing is kind of lax. Our team ran for 36 hours and they gave us a DNS. These were just deflating afterwards and really killed everything.
