Truly attentive staff. Not condescending at all. I never felt rushed through trying on 6+ pairs of shoes. Perfect fit. Everyone should experience this level of service just so they know it is possible.

My husband bought his running shoes from here last year, and I made my very first purchase here today! I love the professionalism and knowledge of the staff when it came to helping me pick out the perfect pair of shoes for my first 5K. I'm definitely shopping with you guys again in the future!
Great store, very friendly and helpful. Need spiked track shoes could not find them from our county and drove the hour to get there. Well worth the trip. The staff was very knowledgeable. Great prices. We thought because it was in Charlottesville and a specialty store it would be expensive but we paid less than one of the big sport stores and they had a bigger selection than the bigger store. We will definitely be coming back and recommending them to the rest of the high school track team.
The delivery service is awesome! I’ve needed shoes for ages but haven’t found the time to come in. One quick phone call and I had shoes on my porch a few hours later! Thanks!
Thanks, Alex for suggesting the Hoka One shoe for my feet. It's liking walking on a cloud! I have been a patron for over 30 yrs and if you are reading this post and have never been to this locally owned business, you must go and have the folks here fit you in a comfortable shoe for running or walking.
We have been shopping at RMRS for 4 years now. I refuse to go anywhere else! The staff is friendly and so helpful! They keep records of our shoe purchases and know what works and doesn't work for us. RMRS has done some amazing things for our running community and I couldn't be happier with them!
