Curt knows cars and is a totally righteous dude. Has been for decades. He's a straight-shooter, so if you want bells and whistles, go somewhere else. Radical is a lesser-known pillar of the Tallahassee community, for good reason.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I took a project car into Radical, because Kurt is well known in the VW community. What I experienced was not what I expect from a professional mechanic. I dropped off my project car, and wanted to know what it would cost to get it up and running; just functional. What I got was a bill for a top-job engine rebuild for over $500. Best in Town – I have been taking my VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia to Curt at Radical for several years. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Extraordinarily knowledgeable, with superior attention to detail, and fixed right everytime. This business is the best kept secret in Tallahassee.
