Hair Tragedy – I went in to have my haircut for my birthday and my stylist BUTCHERED IT! I was so horrified that I cried all the way home. I did call the salon later that day and they agreed to have someone try to fix it. When I arrived at the salon, the person that was “fixing” my hair acted put-out that she had to cut my hair for free. She spent about 5 minutes trimming the ends with a razor and sent me on my way. Stylists Don’t Show Up For Work – The last 2 times I had appointments, my stylist didn’t show up for work that day and I had to reschedule and come back another day. I haven’t got that much time to waste. When you have a job and a family, you need to be able to get things done in a timely manner. It is time for me to find a new salon, so if any users can suggest a salon that is more professional, let me know.

I’m sick of the Hard Sell – Every single time I go to Radiance, the stylists and the owner are pushing other services, upgrades, and styling products on me. I just want to get my cut and color done. You are already charging way too much for a cut and color, so PLEASE just let me leave without going over $200.00!

Warning: Random Overcharging – I had been going to Radiance to have my hair done each week, and each week it was the same price. Then, out of nowhere with no warning, Tammy charged me $40.00 MORE than usual for the same service. There was nothing posted in the salon or on the website about price changes, and Tammy didn’t bother mentioning I would be getting ripped off until she was ringing me up at the counter. Obviously, I will no longer be getting my hair done by scam artists.

Worst Customer Service EVER! – If you call Radiance Salon and a guy named Dale answers, hang up and call somewhere else. I can’t tell you how many times he screwed up my appointments. He either double booked me with someone else, booked me with the wrong stylist, or booked me for the wrong day in the computer. There were 2 times that I wanted to get both a haircut and a manicure, and he informed me that there was nobody available to do manicures. I GIVE UP! – I have been going to this salon for about 8 months. Every single time I go, my previous hairstylist has quit their job. Tammy the co-owner gives a pretty descent haircut, but she is quitting work soon to have a baby. Obviously there is a very high turnover at this salon. I do not recommend going to this salon, instead go somewhere that the stylists are happy enough at their jobs to stick around. I for one like my stylist to get to know me so that I can get consistent haircuts.

Best haircut ever! – Tammy gave me the best haircut I have ever had. She is definitely a professional! I was especially impressed with her teaching her about my specific hair, what styles would flatter my face shape and features and how to style my hair. I will definitely be back!
