Dr. Doshi I had a very different experience than the two other posts listed about Dr. Doshi. I found her to be polite, personable, professional, and a VERY capable doctor. I have been to a handful of dermatologists over the years, and I would rate her as one of the best.
UDA saved my life About 5 years ago Dr. McNeely spotted a melanoma on my back at a very early stage of its development thereby saving me from having to go through invasive cancer treatments, and perhaps saving my life. What higher recommendation could there be?
Worst Front Office Staff The staff are probably hands down the most unprofessional and rude group I have ever met. I have never gone for a visit with having a bad front office experience. Even the manager of the office is rude. I keep going back because of Ms. Banford, PA who has been without fail the best dermatology PA I have visited. My opinion? The admin needs to be fired.
AVOID!!! AVOID. AVOID. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Look at the reviews (Yelp, Google, Insider Pages) for this place and don't say you haven't been warned. Office staff is horrendous. Rude, hostile, totally incompetent, from the person who signs you in to the office manager herself. "Bad attitude" is a gentle way of describing one woman in particular there, who even has the audacity to downright FIGHT with patients. Clear Skies and Clear Skin with Dr. Haggstrom This review pertains to the downtown DC location of the practice. I don't know if they have other locations. Dr. Haggstrom is a very patient-friendly physician. Actually, the entire office staff is friendly. The office manager keeps a close eye on how long patients are waiting to ensure the ship runs smoothly. Dr. Haggstrom herself is well versed in the dermatological practice and is able to recommend a number of medicines to take care of any skin problem.
Go elsewhere I agree that this office is awful. It's impossible to get the doctor (Dr. Mikkilineni) on the phone. Even getting the front desk to pick up the phone is very difficult. They were extremely unhelpful when I had flea bites all over, and NONE of the doctors were willing to stay 10 minutes after they were closed on a Friday afternoon to see me, and suggested I go to the emergency room if it was really that itchy.
Go somewhere else Dr. Haggstrom is who diagnosed me and was an amazing physician. Very easy to talk to and kind. Since she moved the practice has gone downhill most particularly with Dr. Leidtka. Dr. Leidtka is very hard to talk to, is unable to give facts over her personal opinion and does not give referrals to other doctors without a struggle.
Dr Doshi - Most inattentive doctor I've ever seen I had one appointment with Dr Doshi and I would not go back there - she is rude, does not answer questions and behaves as if one is merely a nuisance! Why do people like her go into the medical profession - promise of big bucks - the only explanation!
Terrible Practice; Doshi is the worst doctor I've ever had The staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. They don't care about the patients and have no idea what's going on with insurance or future scheduling. However, the wait was short when I showed up for my appointment.
