RecommendedThe doctors and nurses were very professional and I did not have to wait to be seen. From the time I walked in, I was taken to a room immediately and a doctor came in right away and tests were ordered along with pain and nausea meds. Even though the emergency room got busy, someone responded quickly I hit my call button. The doctor was very professional, showed my husband and I my test results and explained everything and answered all of our questions.
E.r. Care is horrible. They sent me home with a good sugar level over 800 (stroke range, my pancrease had stopped working from my disease) and refused to treat me after they found out I was Medicaid. I also have a form of Muscular Dystrophy and was having trouble breathing. They refused to treat me. I ended up at another hospital and was admitted immediately.
RecommendedRapides Regional Medical Center is a great hospital I recommend everyone to go there. The nurses, patient care tech, the kitchen workers, housekeeping and the doctors are awesome. Rapides Regional Medical Center Staff just know I love y'all and thanks for everything y'all done for me. Thank you Thank you Thank you

Hospital staff is something else ! I have been trying to get info on chain of command and who to talk to. Someone who has the time to listen to me I was so excited to have the opportunity to work at rapides but I want no part in a place that is so unprofessional! Nobody ever emails me back but I knew I wouldn’t receive one !
