I had a very disappointing experience with R3 Counseling Services. I initially called to schedule counseling appointments for both of my daughters, but was told they only had capacity for one client at the time. That was understandable, so I specifically chose to move forward with one particular counselor for my teenage daughter. Before the appointment, I was informed that the virtual session would cost $109 after insurance, which already seemed unusually high. I am so grateful for R3. I work as a referral coordinator with a different psychiatric clinic, and I send a lot of referrals to R3. I have had nothing but WONDERFUL experiences with them. They are prompt, they are kind on the phones, and they are ethical (which can be hard to find these days). Deborah Guertin is truly a God-sent therapist. She works wonders with my daughter and her mental health. Deborah uses different types of coping skills and actually works with the child not just games and coloring, but real conversations about feelings and emotions while engaging in those activities.
